Environmental Policy

Basic Principles

As a good corporate citizen, the Hakuto Group will contribute to economic and social development, and as a social instrument, will consider the global environment and enhance corporate value, while continuously improving its environmental management system to contribute to the creation of a sustainable society in all Hakuto Group companies, including domestic and overseas affiliates.

Basic Policy

  1. 1We will prevent environmental pollution caused by installation and maintenance services for the electronic and electrical equipment we sell.
  2. 2We will manage chemical substances in the value chain by complying with our customers' green procurement standards for the electronic components we sell.
  3. 3We strive to prevent and reduce water pollution, air pollution, noise, vibration, and soil contamination in research laboratories, factories, and other business sites that handle chemicals.
  4. 4We will promote the sale of electronic and electric equipment, electronic components, and chemicals that are effective for preserving and improving the environment, while providing related information and developing related products.
  5. 5We support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are of interest to all stakeholders, and will strive to improve our environmental performance by mitigating global warming, using energy and resources efficiently, and reducing waste.
  6. 6We will comply with environmental laws and other requirements, including customer requirements to which we have agreed.
  7. 7Based on this environmental policy, each division and department will set its own environmental goals and work to minimize risks and maximize opportunities. We will also periodically review our environmental policy and environmental targets.
  8. 8Our environmental policy is made known to all employees via the company intranet and is also made available to the public via our website.
