The Spinning Rotor Gauge (SRG) system consists of a stainless steel measuring tube containing a measuring head, a control/readout unit, and a 4.5mm sensor ball that functions as the pressure sensor.
Measurement involves levitating and rotating the sensor ball using a magnetic field, then calculating the vacuum level by measuring the ball's deceleration rate. The smoothly moving sensor ball is ideal for high-purity processes using various gases and offers corrosion resistance.
