Base stations relay communications for smartphones and wireless communication devices in daily use. Various semiconductor components are used in base stations, including power amps to amplify radio waves during transmission, low noise amps to reduce noise during reception, and RF switches for switching between transmission and reception.

Hakuto's sunscreen products in particular are gentle on the skin and eco friendly, as they are free of surfactants, volatile oils, and silicone oils as well as UV absorbers, which are said to be one of the causes of coral bleaching. The sunscreen can be removed with soap, is safe to use with children, and can be used in everyday life as well as in leisure and sports activities. Hakuto also supports coral reef restoration activities in Fiji, planting approximately 2,500 coral plants annually.

Piping is cleaned using a bullet-shaped resin "pigs." Seawater intake piping used at an aquarium is one such example. The fresh seawater from offshore is continually brought into the aquarium through a 1-km-long submarine pipe. Dirt that has adhered to and accumulated along the pipe is pushed out using a pig that is propelled by water pressure. It is difficult to clean piping that cannot be seen inside, but technology and experience is used to carry out trouble-free cleaning.
