Optical filters (LiDAR)

Various optical technologies are used to ensure the safe operation of vehicles.
In sensing technologies such as LiDAR, in which laser beams are irradiated and the distance to an object and its shape are measured based on the reflected light information, optical filters play an important role in accurately obtaining the position and velocity of an object.

Image processing LSI chips (car navigation systems)

Image processing LSI chips are used in car navigation systems to support comfortable driving. The image processing LSI chip processes various images projected on the car navigation system.

ToF sensors (driver status sensing cameras in vehicles)

Time of flight (ToF) technology is used to help vehicles run safely.
The ToF sensor measures the distance to an object by measuring the time of flight of light.
The system is mounted on an in-vehicle camera that captures images of the driver's eyelids and is used to prevent the driver from falling asleep. While sunlight can affect the accuracy of detection using ordinary camera images alone, the ToF sensor is also used to compensate for this and increase safety.

Laser welding systems (welding of rear combination lamps)

Laser processing is used for cutting, bonding, welding, drilling, and other processes in various fields, but it is also used in the manufacture of familiar products such as the welding of rear combination lamps in passenger vehicles.
