Our Current Circumstances as of March 15 after Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake

We would like to inform our current circumstances affected by the Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake.

Hakuto local offices:
Sendai office is closed for business due to the tremendous damage at the moment and we cannot tell when it will be open.
The rest of our offices are in business.

Influence of the rolling power cuts:
Our information system is in operation without any problems and is able to handle the receipt and shipment of the products. However, because of the rolling power cuts, it could be difficult for us to handle the urgent receipt and shipment.

Shipment:
Shipment after this earthquake is limited because of the carrier and sorry to say that it might happen that we could not deliver the products on time.

(Area where we cannot deliver)
Aomori Prefecture, Akita Prefecture, Iwate Prefecture, Miyagi Prefecture, Yamagata Prefecture, Fukushima Prefecture, Ibaraki Prefecture, certain area of Chiba Prefecture

We cannot be assured about the future circumstances since it depends on the restoration of the infrastructure such as electricity, transportation system, etc.
Our sales people will get in touch with our customers as soon as we make sure about the delivery.

Thank you very much for your understanding.
